Assistant Program Manager – CBRE

Location:

Menlo Park, California, United States of America

As a CBRE Project Senior Analyst, you will provide advanced administrative support to the project management team. Your responsibilities include documentation preparation, escalation for commitment, financial modeling, financial reconciliations, reporting, and managing projects from initiation through completion.

What You’ll Do
  • Review all project delivery programmes and ensure all achievements are managed.
  • Review all Standard Operating Processes and other relevant documentation affecting SMW delivery and ensure compliance.
  • Raise and manage all documentation required to enable project delivery and support progress through the approval system.
  • Review all relevant EHS legislation.
  • Prepare reports from various process systems to support the business cycle of progress and financial reporting.
  • Prepare presentations to explain initiatives to clients and other continuous improvements.
  • Attend all formal meetings with PMs and clients to drive the process and business cycle reporting.
  • Prepare and manage critical communications from SMW teams to clients and engineering teams.
  • Be the ‘go‑to person’ for all ad‑hoc queries.
  • Develop relationships with Finance team and understand the requirements for debt and purchase order management.
  • Provide a systemic approach to maintaining the compliance of the SMW teams, ensuring that a structured format for all aspects of the business cycle is set up and maintained.
  • Train and provide guidance to new and junior team members on policies and administration.
  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Have a broad knowledge of own job field and some knowledge of several job subject areas within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
  • Work primarily within standardised procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 2‑5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyse possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgement and precedents.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organisational skills with an inquisitive approach.

Salary: $85,000 – $105,000 annually, with discretionary bonus based on applicable benefit programme.
