Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T2471). This is an On-Demand role with variable schedule; shifts are posted by store leaders and picked up via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Attendance and active scheduling are required, with shifts selected to meet store needs.

All About On DemandYou can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule.
As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via our myTime mobile scheduling app) that work best with your schedule. Reliable attendance is necessary. You must pick up and work shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours).
Respond to contact attempts to confirm interest in shifts; employment may be terminated if you do not respond or do not work at least one shift within 5 months.
Your communication and ability to work when our business demands it are critical to success in this role. If offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. Afterward, use the myTime app to select shifts you desire.
All About Service & EngagementGuest Advocates welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment, and store cleanliness. They are knowledgeable about in-store and digital capabilities and drive adoption of services to build guest loyalty. They provide quick, easy service at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive-up while maintaining quality.

- Demonstrate how to use Target Wallet and the Target App features
- Process returns per policies and escalate to leaders when needed
- De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience per policies
- Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours
- Operate in a safe, compliant manner and report hazards
- Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive Up, and returns in compliance with laws
- Assist with Cash Office processes as needed
- All other duties based on business needs

- Active engagement by picking up shifts and responding to contact attempts (failure to work within 5 months may lead to administrative termination)
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.)
- Mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift
