• Provides, directs and supervises all aspects of quality patient care, including screening, evaluation and treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education and documentation, to assure the best outcome for the patient. The SLP ensures that patient care follows the organization’s guidelines, professional standards and community needs, and is in compliance with federal and state guidelines.
• The SLP serves as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current and prospective patients, to internal and external customers.
• Ensures cross-disciplinary coordination to provide for consistent patient care.
• Participates in quality assurance and customer service activities.

• Master of Science in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Licensure or Certification as required by state guidelines.
• CPR Certification.
• 1 year of Speech/Language Pathology experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) students will be considered.
