Now Hiring: K-1 Special Education Teacher

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred

Northbrook School is currently accepting applications for a K-1 Special Education Teacher!

We're looking for a caring, dedicated educator who is passionate about supporting all learners. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education (PK-21) endorsement and a strong commitment to helping students reach their fullest potential.

What You'll Do:

* Provide specialized instruction and services to students with disabilities according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

* Work collaboratively with general education teachers and staff to meet each student's educational needs

* Support students' academic, social, and emotional growth in both inclusive and specialized settings

* Maintain accurate records and actively participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring

Qualifications

* Illinois teaching license with Special Education certification (PK-21)

* Experience with life skills programs and/or bilingual/ESL students is a plus, but not required

* Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

* A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of students
