Registered Nurse Correctional Healthcare

We are seeking experienced and dependable Registered Nurses to provide clinical services in a secure healthcare environment. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, supporting medical providers, and ensuring patient safety while adhering to established clinical protocols and security procedures.

Registered Nurses in this setting provide direct patient care to an adult population, perform assessments, administer medications, and respond to both routine and urgent medical needs. Nurses must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively within a structured environment.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care including assessments, treatments, and medication administration
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to appropriate medical staff
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in emergency response protocols
• Accurately document all care provided using electronic or written medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and healthcare staff
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and security procedures at all times
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Comply with all clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

• Full-time schedule

• Typically 8-hour shifts

• Day and evening shifts may be required

• Monday through Friday schedule; hours may be adjusted based on operational needs

• Generally not to exceed 40 hours per week

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Ability to pass a background investigation and security clearance
• Strong clinical skills and sound judgment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Experience in correctional, institutional, hospital, emergency, or acute care settings
• Experience working with diverse or underserved populations
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems
• Bilingual skills are a plus

This position is based in a secure healthcare environment. Nurses must be comfortable working in a structured setting, following security protocols, and maintaining professionalism at all times.
