POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Account Manager supports large and complex commercial clients, typically $500,000+ in premium, by delivering accurate and proactive service in partnership with the Senior Account Executive and Risk Advisor. This role plays a key part in coordinating renewal activities, managing day-to-day service execution, and ensuring consistent, high-quality client experience. Through strong collaboration and attention to detail, the Senior Account Manager helps support McClone’s core purpose of delivering exceptional service and building long-term partnerships.

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS
  • Manage day-to-day service requests for assigned key accounts, including endorsements, coverage inquiries, certificates, billing questions, and documentation requests.
  • Provide high-level servicing support while the Senior Account Executive and Risk Advisor serve as the primary client relationship leaders.
  • Serve as a backup point of contact for client communication related to service items when needed.
  • Support strategic renewal processes by preparing summaries, gathering underwriting information, coordinating renewal deliverables, and tracking renewal timelines.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of client insurance programs, including exposure changes, coverage structures, and carrier requirements.
  • Assist in onboarding new accounts by ensuring accurate setup of coverage details, workflows, and documentation within internal systems.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal team members and carrier partners to support a seamless client service experience.
  • Serve as the primary owner of the client account within the agency management system, ensuring accurate setup and maintenance of activities, tasks, attachments, and documentation related to account service, while maintaining organized workflows that support the Senior Account Executive’s strategic focus.
  • Coordinate and track key client deliverables and service commitments, including renewal materials, stewardship items, and service timeline milestones, ensuring all client deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of carrier platforms, products, and coverages to support efficient account servicing.
QUALIFICATIONS Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in related field, preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial insurance experience
Accreditation
  • Wisconsin Property and Casualty insurance license required within 90 days of employment and maintained throughout the course of employment
