Due to continued growth, we are seeking multiple Automation Project Engineers of varying levels of experience to join our team. These positions involve needs analysis, design, development, implementation, management, and troubleshooting of automation and process control projects with an emphasis on staying within overall project budgets.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field. - Experience:
Automation Project Engineer I – Entry level (up to 6 years), Automation Project Engineer II (6–10 years), Automation Project Engineer III (10+ years). Experience with robotics is preferred. - Knowledge of control networks, network architecture, and communication protocols.
- Travel: 10–30%.
- Work schedule typically 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with potential for other times to meet business needs.
- Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with PLC programming and HMI/SCADA development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with clients and subcontractors to collaborate on design intent.
- Assist with development of department design standards and procedures.
- Interface with CAD department to develop drawings for projects.
- Assist with estimating project design requirements.
- Provide guidance to project managers to ensure construction activities comply with specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.
- Ensure projects are documented properly and effectively using customer requirements and Faith Technologies prescribed standards.
- Coordinate and assist Automation Engineers with project startup and service activities.
- Lead software development for PLC and Operator Interface programming.
- Consistently follow Faith Technologies established design standards.
- Perform other related duties as required.
