Warehouse Associate – Nicole Galindo

Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely performs assigned warehouse functions utilizing established processes, procedures and tools while meeting performance expectations for safety, quality, productivity and attendance.
• Functions may include, but are not limited to loading, unloading, put-away, picking, packing, replenishing, receiving, auditing, shipping, counting product, box-making, etc.
• Operates hand truck, cart, dollies, and walkie to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
• Performs necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.
• Informs Manager or Lead of any problems and actively participates in process improvements.
• Assist in other areas of the Distribution Center as assigned.

• Must have math skills and be able to accurately add, subtract and multiply, and divide.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, packing slips, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
• Must be able to maintain good working relationship with coworkers.
• Must have the ability to apply knowledge and understanding in order to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Demonstrate conduct conforming to organizational values and accepted standards; honest and dutiful.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk, stand, talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift/move/push/pull up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical equipment, extreme cold and extreme heat.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
