Warehouse Inventory Storeroom Attendant

Position Description

• Hourly Pay $16.50 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  First Shift Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm

• Products Being Handled: CPE (Modems) & Pallets
• Equipment:
  Pallet Jacks, Two‑Wheelers, RF Scanner, Computer

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience (if applicable)
• Must have a clean driving record, a personal vehicle, and travel within the area approximately 25–50 % of the day
• Must have a valid Driver's License and meet Ryder's driving qualifications
• Strong technical aptitude: using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, RF scanners and entering data into a WMS System
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Must be able to work both indoors and outside
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, division & multiplication) at beginner level
• Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Safety sensitive position: non‑regulated tech (equipment certification may be required)
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
• Manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities and adapt to changing conditions
• Recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Work independently and as a member of a team

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Perform other duties as assigned
