We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Inventory Clerk to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory management, timely reporting, and effective coordination with internal teams and inbound logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with inventory systems, and the ability to lead and support a small team of clerks.

• Check inbound trucks to verify shipments and ensure materials are received accurately.
• Send the morning backorder report to the Riverside Senior Clerk.
• Send twice daily backorder reports to the Riverside Senior Clerk, ensuring up-to-date information.
• Perform weekly systems material counts to provide accurate data for the Purchasing Department.
• Identify and label specialty items, ensuring they are properly tracked and stored.
• Check will call orders against paperwork to confirm accuracy prior to customer pickup.
• Communicate with the Sales Department regarding material availability, order status, and specialty items.
• Direct Inventory Clerks in daily activities to support efficient warehouse operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead role.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification (preferred but not required).

• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Warehouse environment with occasional exposure to temperature fluctuations.
• Standard hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime based on business needs.
