Warehouse Specialist

Task and Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments and verify accuracy of deliveries
• Processing incoming orders from Depots including pulling, packing, and shipping orders
• File and manage documentation related to inventory receipts and orders
• Receiving and transfer of inventory in ERP system
• Management of inventory counts including weekly cycle counts and quarterly, semi-annual and yearly physical counts
• Communicate with field operations regarding the status of shipments
• Communicate with Parts Supervisor to maintain proper stock levels of parts and supplies

• Minimum one year distribution and shipping experience
• Forklift operator certification is a plus
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to handle a varied and fast-paced workload
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Proficient in relevant software and computer skills
• Strong critical thinking skills to help create and drive new efficiencies in the shipping process

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year distribution and shipping experience
• Forklift operator experience (Required)
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Microsoft software experience including Word, Outlook, and Excel

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Safety oriented enforcing policies and procedures in work area
• Ability to work within a team structure
