DSV is seeking a Warehouse Operator to operate forklift and other material handling equipment to support shipping, receiving, and picking operations. This role requires safe, efficient operation of equipment and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment for the purpose of shipping, receiving, and picking. Activities may include loading or unloading, scanning, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. These Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will perform all duties as assigned.
As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality, and comply with all corporate and site-specific policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Shipping Responsibilities- The shipping functions include using a gas or electric powered forklift to load outbound shipments, move product, and stack products or materials. Load orders efficiently and accurately according to doors and trailers. All shipping functions processed per SOPs.
- The receiving functions include using a gas or electric powered forklift to unload inbound shipments, move product, replenish, stack and store products or materials. Locate and place products in the appropriate storage areas. All receiving functions processed per SOPs.
- The picking functions include using a gas or electric powered forklift to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands. Pick, stage, stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements. All picking functions processed per SOPs.
- Use appropriate documentation to ensure products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly. Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards, and report damages or discrepancies. Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products as defined by SOPs.
- Execute safety protocols; maintain clean and orderly work area; comply with SOPs, corporate/site policies, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS standards.
- Operate equipment including sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, Aisle Master, pallet jack. Maintain equipment, report problems, perform daily inspections and minor maintenance. Maintain active forklift certification.
- Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned. May include overtime as required by business needs.

Required Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment
- Able to operate MHE
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
- Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse; temperatures can vary with seasons.

- 1-3 years in warehouse/logistics/distribution
- 1-3 years forklift experience
- Current or prior MHE certification
- Occasionally: Handling/Fingering, Sitting
- Frequently: Bending
- Constantly: Walking and standing
- Ability to Lift/Carry and Push/Pull: 21-50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat or kneel
While performing duties, exposure to fumes or airborne particles is rare; noise level is usually low to moderate.
