Bassham Foods is a Restaurant Supply Company servicing Restaurants around Texas and surrounding states for over 70 years. We are opening a location in Memphis Tennessee.
Bassham Foods offers great home time! We are currently hiring for a Class A CDL Driver. No sleeper berths, the company pays for your hotel stay and we provide a daily food allowance when away from home. This position is a physical job, our drivers deliver our product to our customers using a ramp and dolly method or a Lift gate and pallet jack.
(Delivery option will depend on equipment and customer needs)
We are a family oriented company and we treat each employee as person not a number. If you have the following qualifications and willing to operate overnight this might be the position for you.
- Class A CDL (will consider newly graduated drivers)
- A valid DOT Card or the ability to obtain one
- A clean MVR (no more than 1 ticket in the last 3 years and no at-fault accidents)
- The ability to go out on regional runs.
- Able to dispatch in early AM hours beginning at 12am to 5am.
- Experienced with unloading a trailer using a ramp & dolly method is preferred.
This position is paid hourly not by the mile or piece and is eligible for overtime pay.
