The Club features a championship 18-hole golf course originally designed by Donald Ross and maintained to the highest standards. The course plays approximately 20,000 rounds per year. In addition to exceptional golf facilities, M.C.C. offers a full range of amenities, including dining, racquets, fitness, and aquatics, serving a distinguished membership that values tradition, quality, and service.

The golf operation is active year-round, hosting a robust calendar of member events, interclub competitions, and an extensive junior program. Position Overview

The Assistant Golf Professional will play a key role in providing an exceptional golf experience for the membership and their guests. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated, service-oriented professional to learn and develop within a respected operation that values excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will assist in all areas of daily golf operations, including tournament management, member services, golf shop operations, instruction, and junior golf programming. This position reports directly to the Head Golf Professional.

Experience Required

Qualifications:

  • PGA Member or registered PGA Associate in good standing,
  • Registered PGA Associates must have completed Level 1,
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for member service,
  • Solid knowledge of golf operations, tournament software, and merchandising principles,
  • Proven ability to teach and promote the game to players of varying skill levels,
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment,
  • Experience with golf shop management systems such as Golf Genius, Fore Tees, or similar platforms preferred,
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours during the golf season.
Essential Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding member and guest service at all times, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere,
  • Assist in managing and executing the club's comprehensive tournament program, including men's, ladies', and junior events,
  • Provide individual and group instruction to players of all skill levels, including juniors and beginners,
