Description:

Job Title: Entry Level Software Tester

Location: Johnson City, TN

Duration: 12 Months

• Provide testing assistance on the Software Production Team.
• Support testing activities with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role if value is demonstrated.
• Collaborate with local team members during the learning and training phase and participate in important group meetings as needed.
• Adapt to changing priorities and manage time across multiple tasks and priorities.
• Apply basic programming knowledge; C# is an absolute advantage.
• Work with in-house testing tools based on C#; training can be provided for the tools, and prior experience is a plus.
• Use Automation Portal as a primary tool for programming and debugging PLC devices in a factory setting.
• Demonstrate open-mindedness, independence, curiosity, and personal drive to learn and complete tasks after becoming productive in the role.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain strong personal communication skills.

• Ideal candidate has a BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or is close to obtaining a degree; consideration given to recent graduates or current students who are near completion.
• Availability of 40 hours per week; flexibility for students is noted.
• Local to the office preferred to support initial learning and training.
• No travel required; team includes international members.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

• Interviews include initial teams phone interviews followed by a panel interview via Teams with technical and testing experts (round robin format).
• Ready to make an offer and start ASAP.
