We are seeking an Installation Team Member to join our crew and support the successful installation of millwork products in the field.
Position Overview
The Installation Team Member is responsible for assisting in the installation of custom millwork, cabinetry, and architectural woodwork at client sites. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. Working as part of a team, the Installation Team Member ensures projects are completed on time, to specifications, and to the company’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of millwork, cabinetry, casework, panels, and other architectural wood products.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation instructions.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials to ensure precision and accuracy.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure proper handling, protection, and finishing of millwork during transport and installation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to address challenges and resolve issues on site.
- Communicate progress, concerns, and project updates to supervisors.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical training preferred.
- Experience in millwork, carpentry, or construction installation preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and construction documents.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift, carry, and install heavy materials (50+ lbs) as required.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work overtime when necessary.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
- Precision and accuracy in installation.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Teamwork and effective communication.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients on site.
