We are seeking an experienced Lead Fire Alarm Technician to support commercial fire alarm installation projects. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can work independently, interpret plans, and lead installations from start to finish.
Responsibilities- Install and manage MC and fire alarm cable
, including loops and circuits. - Mount and install panels, strobes, pull stations, speakers
, and associated devices. - Work with both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
. - Read and interpret blueprints, risers, and wiring diagrams without supervision.
- Perform conduit installation as needed.
- Collaborate with project teams to complete commercial jobs on time.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure all installations meet local and national codes.
- Provide excellent customer service on active job sites.
- 1-3 years of fire alarm installation experience (conventional + addressable).
- Strong commercial installation experience (schools, offices, manufacturing, government sites).
- Ability to install, terminate, and route fire alarm cable without oversight.
- Ability to read prints and install circuits/loops independently.
- Comfortable working alone with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Fire alarm programming experience (bonus, not required).
- Lift certifications (scissor/boom lift).
- Solid understanding of commercial fire alarm installation standards.
- Ability to work safely on ladders and lifts.
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage own workload.
- Reliable transportation.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 – $35.00/hr.
