Restoration Field Technician

Overview

Job Description: Lyons Restores is the leader in Electronics, Contents, Fabric Restoration, and Art. We have an immediate opening for Field Technicians. You will be responding to calls to commercial and residential customers who have experienced water, fire, and or mold damage. This position requires ability to be on call and respond immediately as needed after hours and weekends based on a rotating schedule.

• First response to claims assigned by insurance companies
• Walk-through claims with insurance adjuster and the insured, explaining our process
• Photograph and input documentation about the affected area as well as damaged textiles/soft goods
• Complete the required paperwork for claims using the company iPhone
• Pickup/delivery of customer’s orders
• Communicate with the customer to make sure all needs are met
• Clean and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and warehouse as needed
• Have the ability to travel with overnight stay, if needed
• Have the ability to work overtime, if needed
• Ensure that all jobs are completed beyond our customer’s expectations

• Must have a professional appearance and customer driven attitude
• Possess the ability to work and effectively communicate with people of diverse backgrounds
• Have the ability to lift and carry 30 to 45 pounds
• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Be able to bend over, crawl or kneel
• Possess the ability to learn, comprehend, follow instructions and per company policy for Field Technicians
• Be able to pass a drug screen and background checks
• Possess a clean driving record
• Excellent customer service skills
• Required flexibility to be cross trained to help out in other work areas/locations as needed
• Upon successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, pass the Field Technician Evaluation confirms you are proficient in Lyons policies and procedures

Pay: $18-$21 an hour

Work Location: In person
