Our team is currently looking for a Diesel Technician - Truck Mechanic to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service operating a service truck and performing onsite maintenance & repairs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Must be available to work 70% in the field, 30% in shop environment
• Service and repair work, engine, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes
• 90% of repairs will be conducted within customer secured lots (some roadside assistance)
• Opportunity for advancement through training
• Troubleshooting and inspections
• Preventative Maintenance
• Must be available for after hours on call (rotation basis)
• Will operate mobile service truck daily (When 'On call' can take Service Truck home)
• Good computer skills and good verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Will perform onsite maintenance & repairs at customer's location
• Preventative Maintenance Service Background Required
• Trailer repair experience a HUGE plus!

• 2+ years relevant truck repair experience required
• Preventative Maintenance Service Background Required
• Preferred Certificate or Degree from Diesel Program

• Engine or Transmission Certifications are a huge PLUS
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus
• ASE Certifications a plus
  
  Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• The associate must be able to read and write reports.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
