Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Working in Multiple States
Job Type: Full-Time
Travel: Up to 95%
Salary: Hourly Range: $26.52 - $39.50 and benefit package per Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements:
- Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators etc.)
- Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures
- Excavate and grade dirt, fill &/or debris
- Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers
- Install &/or remove loader attachments
- Coordination to use heavy equipment to separate various materials
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of equipment
- Agility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder
- Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces
- Agility, bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feet
- Ability to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditions
- Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
- Regular and Predictable Performance
Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprentice
Job Specific Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:- Responsible and safety minded
- Knowledge on the use multiple equipment hammer, shear, grapple and/or bucket
- Ability to make visible distinctions among various debris & scrap materials
- Ability to collaborate and work with a team
