Security Officer

Position: Security Officer - Full Time
Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.;
Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining access logs, and directing individuals to designated check-in areas.;
Monitor inbound and outbound traffic at gates and dock areas by coordinating with operations staff, checking scheduled deliveries and/or pickups, and reporting irregular activity per site procedures.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as required.;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including checking doors, fencing, and key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
