Security Officer - Flex ER Screener

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location;
Conduct entrance screening by greeting arrivals, verifying identification and/or appointments as required, issuing visitor credentials when authorized, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in or service area;
Monitor entry points for prohibited items and/or unauthorized access, support package and bag screening as assigned, and promptly report concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, initiating notifications, and documenting events per post orders;
Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and the perimeter as assigned, observing for unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations, and reporting findings according to site procedures
