Learn more:  As an Access Control Officer at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, check credentials, support visitor and driver processing, and document security‑related activity.

You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel to help reduce incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following site‑specific security‑related procedures and access control policies at a logistics and distribution location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, processing visitor and vendor check‑in and/or check‑out, and directing individuals to the appropriate area.
• Monitor vehicle traffic flow at gates and docks, confirm delivery and pickup information when required by post orders, and communicate irregularities to site management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting through the chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the perimeter, trailer yards, and parking areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
