Security Officer - Access Control

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Monitor entry points and interior access-controlled areas, verify identification and visitor authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor and delivery logs per site requirements;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility alarms, access disputes, and unauthorized entry attempts, and escalate to site leadership and/or public responders as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, observe for unusual activity and access control concerns, and report maintenance hazards and/or operational issues through established channels;
Complete routine reports and incident documentation, use access control systems and communication tools, and support patient privacy practices by directing questions and foot traffic to appropriate departments
