Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disruptive behavior and coordinating with hospital staff and/or local responders as directed;
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity;
Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to site leadership;
Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions
