** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Conduct entrance screening activities, such as verifying approved access points, observing for prohibited items, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in areas based on site procedures.

+ Support visitor management by confirming identification and/or appointment information as directed, issuing access credentials when required, and routing guests to the correct department.

+ Monitor and control access through designated screening areas, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items from entering the facility.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders.

+ Operate screening and access control equipment as assigned, such as walk-through detection, hand-held wands, and/or X-ray systems, and report equipment issues through the appropriate channels.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, lobbies, waiting areas, parking areas, and the perimeter as assigned, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns according to policy.

+ Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate key information during shift turnovers to maintain continuity of security-related operations.

+ - Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.

+ - Be 21+ years of age.

+ - Hospital:

+ - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
