As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents and responding swiftly to any concerns. This role requires you to be armed and qualified to drive, providing both a visible presence and exceptional customer service to those on‑site. Pay Rate: $28.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:
Monday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Tuesday: 02:00 PM – 06:00 PM
Wednesday: 02:00 PM – 06:30 PM
Thursday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address security‑related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting as required.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to deter unauthorized individuals.
• Document and report all security‑related incidents, activities, and observations in accordance with company and client protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security‑related incidents and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and attentive at all times, responding promptly to alarms, disturbances, or other situations requiring intervention.

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• An armed guard card or license.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
