Summary of Primary Functions
:
As a Technical Precast Sales Representative, you will establish, maintain, and grow customer accounts to generate business for the precast concrete industry. You will ensure customer requirements and business plan performance objectives are met from project inception through closeout of the project.

Territory covers: Nashville, TN Metro area and Northern Alabama

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:
All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.

• Develop and maintain long term relationships with existing customers.
• Develop new customers and project opportunities within an assigned sales territory.
• Evaluate potential opportunities to ensure they parallel business plans and customer needs.
• Identify greater market opportunities for new products and services based on customer needs and profitability potential.
• Achieve desired revenue offerings.
• Coordinate with the Sales Manager planned margin offerings.
• Ensure all proposals are accurate and represent the correct offering of scope, terms, and pricing including associated terms.
• Monthly monitor and communicate market activities and trends including competitive activities such as CIP, tilt-up, block & brick and other precasters.
• Conduct monthly regional marketing activities such as lunch and learns, trade shows, and sales presentations.
• Develop design-build and negotiated projects with Owners, Architects, and/or General Contractors.
• Maintain and report project monthly activity by utilizing Tindall CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Represent Tindall on bid day for hard bid offerings (bi-monthly).
• Ensure that all documentation is in place prior to transferring project management activities to the assigned PM.
• Maintain frequent communication with all relevant parties to ensure the proposal offering is clearly understood.
• Have daily contact with fellow employees, management, customers, federal/state agencies, and vendors.

Education
:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil or industrial engineering or other related field, with 5+ years of industry or prior precast experience.

Experience
:

• Territory covers:
  Nashville TN and Northern Alabama
• 5 to 7 years of proven sales experience in the construction, engineering, or precast concrete industry.

Travel Requirements
: approximately 40% travel with frequent overnight stays is required to jobsites and visiting clients.
