Overview
Sales Counselor role at Everstory Partners in Memphis, TN. The position involves selling pre-need and at-need funeral services and related inventory, assisting families with funeral selections, and attending services.
Responsibilities- Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services and cemetery property/merchandise.
- Assist families with funeral selections and attend services.
- Generate leads through a combination of walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive lead generation and prospecting.
- Engage in activities that support clients through the service continuum and provide compassionate guidance.
- Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; related area such as Business, Marketing, and/or Sales preferred. - 1 year of sales experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle; offsite appointments and travel may be required; mileage reimbursement provided.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook).
- Experience with a CRM or lead management system preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Estimated first-year earnings: $65,000 - $75,000 (includes hourly wage and commission). Uncapped commission and earnings. Training Pay of $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.
