We are seeking a Sales Director for our Tellepsen Family Downtown Y to lead corporate and membership sales growth in a competitive downtown market. This role is accountable for implementing sales strategies that close the deal, increasing revenue performance, and leading in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
The ideal candidate is a driven sales leader with a proven record of exceeding targets and building corporate partnerships.

The Sales Director is responsible for generating new corporate membership partnerships and driving revenue growth by proactively engaging businesses, housing communities, ISDs, government entities, and other organizational partners. This role focuses on prospecting, direct outreach, relationship development, and closing new partnerships, with a strong emphasis on in-person engagement. The position supports membership growth by promoting YMCA programs, services, and membership opportunities.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, hospitality, or related field.
- Four or more years of successful sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and other sales software.
- Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations.
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- CPR and First Aid certifications may be required.
