As a Technical Account Manager with AWC, you will work directly with our technology partners and develop a deep understanding of their products, leveraging solutions dedicated to enhancing efficiency, safety, and productivity across various industries.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building strong relationships and understanding their technical requirements and business objectives.
- Provide expert technical guidance on our range of products and solutions, including flow, pressure, temperature instrumentation, valves, and pressure management systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products, services, and solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities, contributing to revenue growth and market expansion.
- Build profitable sales in an assigned territory through prospecting and new business development.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and technical training sessions to deepen engagement and promote product awareness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to anticipate client needs and provide strategic recommendations.
- Manage account activities, including sales forecasts, pipeline management, and reporting, to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Coordinate the entire sales process, from order placement to delivery and installation, ensuring orders are fulfilled on time and to customer expectations.
- Provide technical support to clients, addressing questions, resolving issues, and offering troubleshooting guidance.
- Serve as a trusted “go‑to” expert, building credibility and delivering value.
Skills you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales, account management, or related roles within the industrial controls and automation industry.
- Strong technical background with expertise in instrumentation and process control systems.
- Track record of managing key client accounts and driving business growth through effective relationship management and solution selling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a customer‑centric mindset and proactive problem‑solving approach.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Experience with CAPEX projects and MRO activities.
