Golf Attendant; Part-Time

Salary Range: $12.00 - $15.50

Works under the general direction of the Golf Facility Manager to provide customer service for patrons of the City of Memphis golf courses. Conducts retail sales transactions for golf greens fees, cart fees, and golf shop merchandise. Picks up trash, sets up driving ranges, and washes the golf carts. Cleans the clubhouse, golf shop, snack bar, and outside grounds.

• Performs additional functions (essential or otherwise) which may be assigned.

Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Requires the use of general office equipment such as computers and telephones and to conduct financial transactions with customers. May be required to lift items up to 50 lbs, operate push mowers and handheld leaf blowers.

Majority of work is performed both indoors and outdoors.

High school diploma/equivalent with one year of experience in a related field.
