White Cap invites you to join our team as a Parts Counter Sales Associate
. This role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsible for assisting equipment customers in supplying the correct parts needed to maintain and repair equipment. Supports customer relationships from a product support standpoint.

• Processes orders, quotes prices, and enters orders into the system, providing other information to customers.
• Pulls orders as required and processes items for outbound shipments.
• Ensures cleanliness of parts stockroom and warehouse.
• Ensures merchandise displays are stocked and clean.
• Performs inventory control functions including receiving inventory, bin locating, and cycle counts.
• Demonstrates knowledge of products and applications, providing technical advice, troubleshooting, and helping resolve customer problems.

• Refers complex or unusual problems to supervisor.
• Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well‑defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review by a supervisor.
• None.

• Located in a comfortable indoor area; occasional light lifting may be required.
• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training or certification may be required.
• Generally 2‑5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.

• Knowledge of compact construction equipment.
• Prefer parts sales experience.
• Prefer heavy customer service experience.
• Prefer mechanical aptitude.
• Prefer advanced computer literacy.
• Prefer proficient multitasker.
• Prefer excellent customer service.
