Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!

$13.00 to $16.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process!

Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $0.54 per hour ON TOP OF YOUR HOURLY RATE.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. They thrive on engaging with customers and assist with inquiries and problem resolution.

The role involves working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay is based on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities of a Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate (representative list; other duties may be assigned):

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Process sales and loan transactions according to policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiables per policies and regulations.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using communication tools.
• Partner with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods, including bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, and pulling; compliant with federal, state, and local laws.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist customers on exterior areas or retrieve products stored outside the building.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Willingness to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
