Detailer (Flat Rate) – Memphis, TN (Job )

Teph Seal Auto Appearance is hiring a Detailer for our flat‑rate detail shop. This position is ideal for a team player who values customer service and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Flat Rate Detail Shop Position(s) Available.

• Wash and detail vehicle exteriors using a variety of cleaning solutions.
• Wax, buff, and apply preservation chemicals with cloths and buffing machines.
• Vacuum interiors, clean upholstery, surfaces, and use air compressors to dry and protect.
• Clean engine compartments and remove grease; use dyes, paints, and waxes to protect leather and fabric.
• Maintain store facilities and uphold high quality service standards.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.
• Adhere to safety procedures and use OSHA‑approved waxes and cleaners.

• Physically demanding: bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and frequent movement in and around vehicles.
• Work may be performed outdoors and under varying climate conditions.
• Potential lifting or carrying of up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent flexing of spine, hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Strict adherence to uniform and grooming standards.

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Prior detailing experience:
  Detail Specialist 1 (some experience) or Detail Specialist 2 (2 + years).
• Quick learner who can read and follow instructions accurately.
• Team‑oriented, reliable, and punctual during scheduled hours.
• Willingness to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual‑shift vehicles.
• Physical fitness sufficient to perform the duties listed above.
