Retail Sales Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our nationwide pawn store locations. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role includes greeter duties, sales, loans, and customer inquiries.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise.
• Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items following established procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborates with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training successfully.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Willingness and ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to perform extended standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting tasks.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer‑service focus and team orientation.
• Multi‑tasking ability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as business needs dictate.

Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of their personal performance. Details are provided during the interview.
