Cook – Morning Shift (Part-Time)
1306 Monroe Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104
Tuesday–Saturday, 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Do you love cooking and serving others? We’re looking for a reliable, experienced Cook to join our mission-driven team in preparing hearty meals for 150–250 guests each day.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare, cook, and serve meals using available ingredients
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards
Lead and collaborate with volunteers in food prep and cleanup
Help unload and organize large food deliveries (up to 5,000 lbs.)
Log fridge/freezer temps and follow daily open/close procedures
Support all kitchen operations with a positive, can-do attitude
What You Bring:
Proven cooking experience and knowledge of kitchen tools/equipment
Strong communication and leadership skills
Physical stamina (lifting up to 50 lbs.) and a team-player mindset
High school diploma or equivalent (culinary training a plus!)
