The Cooks function as the heartbeat of the kitchen and food operations at our cafe locations. They are tasked with preparing and serving quality food with an emphasis on consistency. Cooks must maintain a working knowledge of the products we offer and what they will be tasked with preparing for and executing in the kitchen. Cooks are responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchens they work in as well.

• Prepare and serve quality food with an emphasis on consistency.
• Maintain a working knowledge of our product offerings and what will be prepared and executed in the kitchen.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchens in which they work.

• Previous cook or kitchen experience
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must possess a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with a hands-on, cooperative approach in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and accountability in completing all tasks in a thorough, accurate and timely manner
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time frequently
