As a Quality Engineer / Senior Quality Engineer, you will be a core member of the quality team, primarily responsible for quality monitoring, data analysis, and process stability assurance throughout the electrolyte production process. You will ensure daily production activities strictly comply with the quality system and process specifications. Through on-site involvement and a data-driven approach, you will promptly identify and drive the resolution of process quality issues, providing solid assurance for product consistency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Process Quality Monitoring: Conduct daily quality inspections and monitor process parameters on the production floor (from raw material receipt to product filling), ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Quality Control & Data Analysis: Execute and oversee in-process quality checks and tests; collect, statistically analyze key quality data (e.g., SPC), identify trends and anomalies, and prepare daily/weekly quality reports.
- Non-conformance & Deviation Management: Lead or participate in initial investigations and root cause analysis of non-conforming products, deviations, and quality incidents in production, and track the implementation and verification of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Quality System & Internal Audit Support: Assist in maintaining the effective operation of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949); participate in internal audits and be responsible for tracking the closure of related non-conformities.
- Continuous Improvement Participation: Utilize basic quality tools (e.g., 5
Why, Fishbone, PDCA) to participate in quality continuous improvement projects, aiming to enhance process capability and product quality.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Experience & Knowledge: 3+ years of hands-on experience in process quality control within the chemical, lithium battery, or related manufacturing industries. Familiarity with electrolyte or lithium battery material production processes and key quality control points is preferred.
- Skills:
- Familiar with Quality Management System (ISO 9001) requirements; basic understanding of IATF 16949 and core tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA) application.
- Solid data analysis skills, proficient in using tools like Minitab and Excel for data processing and analysis.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional colleagues from production, engineering, and the laboratory.
- (For Senior Level) Capable of independently leading quality investigations and improvement projects.
- Language: Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
