• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC (Night Shift) | Travel Nursing Job
• Location: Memphis, TN 38104 (Memphis healthcare, Tennessee travel nursing)
• Start Date: March 23, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (through June 22, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (typically 3 shifts/week)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890

• Employment Type: Travel Contract — LTAC unit, on-site

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Tennessee RN license preferred for expedited onboarding)
• Minimum 2 years recent bedside clinical experience; LTAC or ICU RN experience highly desired
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required prior to first shift
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required prior to first shift
• Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Experience supervising and delegating to LPNs and CNAs
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized LTAC care plans
• Provide hands-on direct patient care following the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary team conferences and give timely patient status updates to the care team
• Initiate discharge planning and deliver patient/family education from day one to support transitions of care
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to ensure safety and continuity of care
• Supervise, train, and delegate tasks to ancillary nursing staff (LPNs, CNAs)
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols and report hazards to promote a safe LTAC work environment
• Foster a positive unit culture through teamwork, calm leadership, and professional conduct
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed following orientation
