Job Summary

Up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus based on eligibility.

This role provides direct clinical patient care. It involves assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per‑shift basis, and at the unit level. The role includes supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated, and accountability to support the CNO in ensuring high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates patient care for assigned patients using a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Develops and modifies plan of care for newly admitted patients as conditions/needs change.
  • Delivers designated nursing interventions consistent with the medical plan of care.
  • Performs procedures in the specialty service area.
  • Documents nursing care accurately and completely in patient records and on appropriate forms.
  • Performs related duties as required.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • RN with current applicable state licensure/permit
    • BLS – Certification required upon hire for all nursing positions.
    • ACLS – Required within 3 months of hire for the following departments:
      • Emergency Dept & Medical Response Team RN
      • ICU RN & Stepdown RN
      • Med/Surg/Tele RN
      • All Float Pool RNs
      • Same Day Surgery RN, Operating Room RN & PACU RN
      • GI Lab RN & Interventional Radiology RN
      • Special Procedures RN
      • L&D RN
      • Cardiac Care RN, Cardiac Rehab RN & Cardiac Cath Lab RN
    • CPI – Required within 3 months of hire for the following:
      • Emergency Dept. RN
      • All Bartlett Float Pool RN, Memphis Float Pool RN that will float to Behavioral Health and/or Emergency Dept.
      • All Behavioral Health RN
    • PALS – Required within 3 months of hire for Emergency Dept., Float Pool RN who float to the Emergency Dept.
    • NRP – Required within 3 months of hire for L&D RN, Mother/Baby RN and NICU RN.

    Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's)
