Assignment Details – Travel Nurse Job- Location: Memphis, Tennessee (38104) — Midtown Memphis, close to dining, arts, and historic neighborhoods
- Unit: 9 Shorb Ortho – Medical Surgical Orthopedic
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
- Shift: 4 x 12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,800 - $1,890 per week
- Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site
- Positions Available: 5
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or a valid compact state license
- Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience (3+ years preferred)
- Orthopedic RN and Level I Trauma Center experience required
- Large hospital experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required (at least 1 completed assignment)
- ADN or BSN accepted (BSN not required for this unit)
- Current BLS certification (must remain current for the entire assignment)
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Must live at least 100 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
- Provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic and medical-surgical patients in a Level I Trauma Center
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and recovery
- Work within team nursing ratios and adapt to dynamic patient acuity
- Float to similar units as needed within a 20-mile radius
- Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as required
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR (preferred)
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines
