Registered Nurse – Day/Evening Shifts – Compass Intervention Center – Memphis, TN

Compass Intervention Center is seeking a dynamic and talented Registered Nurse to join our behavioral health team. The role offers a competitive salary, a $10,000 sign‑on bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

• Prescribe, coordinate, and delegate nursing care utilizing the nursing process integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of Compass Intervention Center and the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care.
• Create a safe environment for clients, provide direct supervision of clients, empower clients, and teach new tools for coping.
• Promote and enhance professional nursing practice on the unit and on a shift basis.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• One-year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Licensure and registration by the Tennessee Board of Nurse Examiners or Compact as a registered nurse.
• Knowledge of effective teaching skills and educational strategies with a special education population, individual and group management skills, therapeutic relationships, and processes.
