Registered Nurse

Compass Intervention Center is seeking a dynamic and talented Registered Nurse for Day/Evening shifts. • The Registered Nurse (Day/Evening Shifts) prescribes, coordinates, and delegates nursing care utilizing the nursing process integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care. The RN is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and promotes professional nursing practice on the unit. The RN provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Compass Intervention Center and the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care.
  
  The RN creates a safe environment for clients, provides direct supervision, empowers clients, and teaches new coping tools.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.
• One-year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Licensure and registration by the Tennessee Board of Nurse Examiners or Compact as a registered nurse.
• Prefer knowledge of effective teaching skills and educational strategies with a special education population, individual and group management skills, therapeutic relationships and processes, age‑specific growth and development; limit setting and crisis and behavior management.

Memphis, TN Salary: $48,920.00-$94,690.00
