Travel RN - Cath Lab​/EP

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with a compact or TN RN license and prior travel assignment experience.

Job Details

• Position based in a hospital Cath Lab within a Level I Trauma Center,

• Shift is 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm,

• Weekend work required as needed,

• No on-call scheduled, but this may change during the interview process,

• RN may float between similar units or nearby campuses within 20 miles, though this is rare,

Job Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license in hand, compliant with NLC requirements,

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience; 3+ years preferred,

• At least 1 completed previous travel assignment required,

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher,

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification,

• Cerner EMR experience preferred,

• Driver's license required for consideration,

• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility,

• No pending licenses accepted,

Additional Information

• Work with cardiovascular teams in a high-acuity Cath Lab setting,

• Provide nursing care for cardiac procedures in a fast-paced trauma center,

• Holiday coverage required:
Must be willing to work 2 of 3 end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if the assignment overlaps, or 1 of 2 holidays if only two fall within the contract period,

• All requested time off must be submitted with initial application; changes will not be considered after offer,

• Return travelers and former employees must have a 1-year separation before returning,

• Vaccination status must be provided,

• Facility does not accept first-time travelers or local candidates,
