West Cancer Foundation (WCF) is seeking an experienced, part-time contract Grant Writer to support our growing grant portfolio focused on expanding access to cancer care for uninsured and underserved individuals across the Memphis MSA.

This flexible, contract-based role will work closely with the President and senior staff to identify, develop, write and submit high-quality grant proposals to public and private funders. This position is ideal for a seasoned grant professional seeking meaningful, mission-driven work on a flexible schedule.

• Research and identify funding opportunities
• Develop, write, edit and submit grant proposals
• Provide reporting as required by the grantor
• Coordinate proposal materials, attachments, and reporting
• Manage multiple deadlines and submissions
• Build and maintain relationships with funding partners

• Proven success securing grants ($5,000 - $1M+ preferred)
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of healthcare, community health, or human services funding preferred
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Familiarity with major grant platforms
• Remote or hybrid considered
