At The Life Church, we believe in raising up the next generation with passion and purpose. The Kids Life Coordinator plays a vital role in this mission by leading a thriving volunteer team, creating environments where kids feel known and loved, and partnering with parents to shape a lasting faith.
We value experience in children's ministry, but what we're looking for is a proven leader—someone who can recruit, develop, and care for people. Someone who loves the local church and wants to bring energy, excellence, and spiritual leadership to the kids and families of our community.
What You'll Do *- Lead and develop a volunteer team to serve with passion and consistency in Kids Life at The Life Church
- Create meaningful weekend experiences by preparing environments, ensuring the curriculum is ready, and leading the team with clarity and purpose
- Champion safety and excellence in all kids' spaces by following and reinforcing church-wide systems
- Communicate with care—from parents and volunteers to pastors and team leaders—you're a relational bridge for the families of your location
- Own the details—from scheduling and supply management to preparing spaces and tracking volunteer health
- Collaborate with the global Kids Life staff and help create and lead church-wide events and moments that impact families
- Support the Location Pastor in building a life-giving, vibrant culture at The Life Church
- A proven track record of leadership, preferably in a ministry, team, education, or service-based environment
- Strong relational and communication skills, with the ability to lead adults and relate well to parents and kids
- A love for the local church and a desire to invest in the next generation
- High personal standards in organization, follow-through, privacy and team development
- A commitment to modeling the following qualities:
Integrity, Positive Attitude, Work Ethic, Excellence, Team Player, Achievement, Development, Humility, Commitment and Intuition - Comfort with digital tools (Google Suite, Planning Center, Ministry Platform) and willingness to learn new systems
- A genuine love for people and a passion to help them grow personally and spiritually
- A flexible, team-first attitude and the ability to lead both people and projects with humility and excellence
- Availability for Sunday services, weekly office hours, and occasional evenings or special events
