- Lead, coach, and develop machining team members to achieve production goals.
- Plan and schedule machining operations to meet quality, delivery, and output targets.
- Monitor daily performance and adjust priorities to keep production on track.
- Partner with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining or tooling challenges.
- Optimize CNC machining processes to improve throughput and reduce cost.
- Analyze production data to drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste.
- Manage labor, equipment, tooling, and materials for maximum efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience welcomed.
- Experience leading teams in a machining or machine shop environment.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, CNC operations, and production workflows.
- Background in CNC programming, tooling, and multi‑axis machining optimization.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, machining specifications, and GD&T.
- Experience applying lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
