Manufacturing Support Specialist , II, or III

Description

At uLab Smart Factory, we produce custom Class II dental aligner products using cutting-edge industrial automation and robotics. As a Manufacturing Support Specialist, you’ll be part of a team that ensures we deliver top-quality products to our customers, often in as little as three days. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic, fast paced, and rapidly growing environment where precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement are highly valued.

• Support daily aligner production goals to meet strict quality and delivery timelines.
• Operate, monitor, and interact with automated machinery and production equipment per training and safety standards.
• Assemble, inspect, and package aligner products with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Handle small, delicate components, including reading fine numbers and letters (magnification devices available as needed).
• Participate in cross-training to build skills across multiple production tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with company policies.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using production software.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts, with occasional overtime or weekends.
• Reliable transportation.

• Specialist I:
  Entry-level, learning core production tasks under close supervision.
• Specialist II:
  Proficient in multiple tasks, able to work independently with minimal supervision, contributes ideas for process improvement.
• Specialist III:
  Expert in most production tasks, supports training of others, acts as a resource for troubleshooting and driving improvements.
