Overview
Responsibilities include communicating with corporate on tank orders being shipped and received; loading and securely packaging tank shipments daily based on orders from corporate; unloading shipments from carrier and creating internal receiving documentation; operating a lift truck daily as needed to load, unload, and move pallets around the facility; daily reporting of finished goods inventory; maintaining housekeeping and organization of work areas;
and assisting others with workload in a team-based environment.
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in written or oral form.
- Ability to read and legibly write basic correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of computers including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Forklift operations in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- OSHA forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
- The incumbent will interact with all levels of the organization.
- Must be flexible to assist other refurbishment activities as required beyond primary responsibilities.
- Willingness/enthusiasm for accepting responsibility and accountability; an “ownership mentality.”
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to deal effectively with repetitive tasks.
- Achievement driven while delivering quality results.
- High-energy individual.
- Ability to foster strong relationships with colleagues and field personnel.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to direct lift up to 75 lbs. routinely and up to 175 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to maneuver tanks weighing up to 750 lbs. and up to 6 ft. tall.
